The License Renewal frame is a query frame that allows you to view and update individual license or permit records.
To view license or permit records filter by any one of the search criteria or a combination of the search criteria.
For example, you may want to view all records for your Engine Emission Certification License Type that will expire within the next year. Select that License Type from the drop down menu and then select a Start Date and an Expiration Date that is one year out. Then click the Retrieve button.
You can also filter by Parking Location, Maintenance Location, or Unit Status. After you have entered your criteria you can enter a date range to narrow down or expand your results.
Update
The License and Unit Number fields and the Description field are read-only. All other fields are able to be changed. You can change the Start and Expiration Dates, the State and Country codes, Fees and Weight fields and the License Type.
Once you have made your changes, click the Save button.
Note: If a License or Permit number has multiple unit numbers associated with it, changing the license information for one of those units on this frame will update the information for all units associated with the license or permit number.
System Flags
5357 – Display License Description on Unit Main and License Renewal? (Y/N) – If the flag is set to ‘Y’, the Description field on the License/Notes tab of Unit Main and the Description field on License Renewal will display the license description that was entered by the user. If the flag is set to ‘N’, the field on both frames will display the description from the License Type.
