The Interface Code Translations frame allows you to configure and translate the data needed from various interfaces into valid M5 Codes.
The translation choices are: Products, Locations, Departments, Vendors, and Other. Use the type pull down menu to make the selections.
Create
To create a new Interface Code Translation, select the Type then go to the last empty row of the table. Double click in the Interface field to select one from the list of Available Interfaces.
Double click in the M5 Values field and select a value from the list of codes available.
The list of values will depend upon what type is selected. Product will display codes from Product Main. Location will display general locations from Location Main. Vendor will display codes from Vendor Main. Departments will display numbers from Department Main.
Then enter the Interface code value. Click Save when finished.
Modify
To modify an Interface Code Translation, select the row of the interface you want to edit. You can change the M5 Value, Description and Interface Code fields.
Delete
To delete an interface, click in the row to make it active. Click the Delete button (Red X). The selected row will turn red. Click Save to delete the record.
