The Job Priority screen allows you to define and manage Job Priority codes for use within the M5 system on screens like Work Order Main and Work Request Main. The system allows up to ten codes (0-9) with zero typically being the lowest priority and nine being the highest priority for a job. But the Description field and the Disabled check box make these codes customizable to your organization's specific business needs and processes.
For example, an organization may only want to use three priority codes with one being the lowest and three being the highest. They can then disable all other codes and enter in the appropriate descriptions for the codes they leave enabled.
You can also designate a code as the default code by checking the 'Default' check box. When all codes are enabled, five is the default value. The description field has a limit of 20 alphanumeric characters.
To enable any configuration changes to the default priority codes, click the 'Save' button at the top of the screen.
