Work Order Adjustment Reasons identify when changes are being made to a closed work order on Work Order Main. These Adjustment Reasons can be used to indicate why the changes were made after the work order was closed.
The WO Adjustment Reasons frame allows you to create and maintain a list of codes for use when making adjustments to closed work orders.
Create
To create a new WO Adjustment Reason, click in the blank Code field and type in a new code. This field has a character limit of one. Next enter a description in the Description field. This field has a character limit of 20.
As an example you could enter ‘P’ for the code and in the Description field, enter ‘Part Adjustment’. Once you have entered the new code and its description, click Save.
Modify
You can modify the description of existing WO Adjustment reasons. Once a code has been created and saved you cannot modify the code value.
Disable
To disable a code, check the Disabled box in the row of the Adjustment Reason you want to disable. Click Save. The WO Adjustment Reason will no longer be available for use.
Delete
You can delete a WO Adjustment Reason provided it is not in use anywhere in the system. If the code is in use, you will not be able to delete it.
To delete an Adjustment Reason, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active. Click the Delete Button (Red X) at the top of the frame. The select row will turn red. Click Save.
The WO Adjustment Code will be removed from the list and will no longer exist in the system.
