Driver Event Entry

The Driver Event Entry frame allows you to maintain and review different Driver Events for individual Drivers.  

You must first setup Driver Event Types and Driver Event Classes before making entries on this frame. Through the use of Driver Event Items, the user can collect any number of data fields as required.

To view or add events for a specific driver, enter the Driver Number or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV). The Name and Status fields will automatically populate. You can use the Upcoming Events and Overdue Events hyperlinks to view any upcoming or overview events for that driver. Each hyperlink will launch a pop up list with any available events and the user will have the option to select one to load into the Driver Event Entry screen.

Enter or select an Event Type from the list of values (LOV). The Event Class field will automatically populate.

Event Dates:

• Event Date - Date the event took place. This date will be used if you want to view the event on this frame in the future. If no event exists for the date entered, you will be prompted to create new event.
• Actual Date - Actual date of the event, optional.
• Expiry Date - Date the event expires, optional.

Event Comments:

• Event Detail - Free-form field to describe details of the event, 125 character limit.  
• Event Location - Location the event took place, free-form field, 30 character limit.
• Reference - Free-form field to add reference number for the event, 24 character limit.
• Comment - Enter comments about the event, free form field, 75 character limit.
• Results - Free-form field to enter event results, 12 character limit.
• Situation - Values in this drop down depend on values setup and associated with the Event Type on the Driver Event Risk Management frame.
• Score - Will populate automatically based on selection made in the Situation drop down.

Driver Event Entry:

The Driver Event Items that appear here will depend on the items setup and display any items associated with the Event Type.

Notes:

This is a free-form note field to enter any additional information or details about the driver event.

System Flags

5360 - Warning Days for Drivers - Number of days for Amber warning on driver events.
