Driver Trip Entry

The Driver Trip Entry frame is part of the Driver Management module. This frame allows you to record and manage data related to different Driver Trips.

Create a Driver Trip Entry

To create a driver trip entry, enter a valid Driver Number in the Driver No. field or double-click in the field to select one from the list of values. The Name, Status, and Licence Classes will display automatically in read-only format.

Next, enter the Allocation Details starting with the Start/End dates for the trip, the Start/End Mileage values, Business and Personal Miles, along with the Driver Allocation Reason Code. The duration of the trip and the total miles will populate automatically based on the values you enter in the Start/End Dates and Mileage fields.

Finally, enter the Vehicle Details. You can select a Unit Number or you can also select Non Company Vehicle Number from the drop down. The Year/Make/Model and License Class information will default in based on the unit number you enter or choose from the list of values (LOV).

When finished, select the 'Save' button at the top of the frame to add the Driver Trip to the i-frame below. To view previously created Trips, enter in the Drive No. to display the trip records on the bottom i-frame. The Unit No. and Start Date/Time are hyperlinks that will load the trip data on the sections above.
