Safety Check Types

Drivers may be required to carry out pre-driving safety checks before hitting the road. The Safety Check Types frame allows you to create and define Safety Check stages to print out for each driver.

 

Create

 

To create a new safety check type, enter the new type in the Safety Check Type field. This field has a limit of ten characters. If the type does not exist, you will receive a popup asking you if you want to create the new Safety Check Type. Click Create to confirm the action.

 

In the Safety Check Types section, enter a description in the Description field. This field has a limit of 32 characters. Enter any instructions or comments in the Comments field. This field has a limit of 128.

 

For example, CHECK BRAKES - Perform brake inspection

 

Repeat for as many rows as is necessary, click the Save button at the top of the frame when finished with the entries.

 

Modify

 

To modify a Safety Check Type, enter the type or select one from the LOV. You can modify the comments but not the descriptions. Click Save when finished to update the record.

 

Delete

 

To delete a safety check type, load the type on the frame and click the Delete button (Red X) at the top of the frame. You will receive a popup asking you if you are sure you want to delete the type. Click Delete to confirm the action.
