Fee Stages
The Fee Stages frame allows you to create and define unique codes for
use in tracking data related to the Fees module. This functionality helps
fleet organizations manage compliance and safety related charges such
as Penalty Charge Notices and Notices of Intended Prosecution.
Create
- To create a new Fee Stage, click in the Fee
Stage field in the last empty row of the i-frame and enter
a new code (if no codes have been created yet, this will be the first
row on the i-frame). This required field supports up to 15 alphanumeric
characters and must be unique.
- After entering a code value, enter a description in the Description field. This
required field supports up to 100 alphanumeric characters.
- When finished entering the code and description, click the
Save button at
the top of the frame.
Edit
- To edit an existing code, click in the row of the code you want
to edit to make it active.
- Only the Description
field is changeable. The Fee
Stage field is read-only.
- After you have made the requisite changes, click the Save button at the top
of the frame to update the record.
Delete
- To delete an existing code, click in the row of the code you want
to delete to make it active.
- Click the Delete button
at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red.
- Click the Save
button to confirm the action. The system will process the request
and remove the code.
- NOTE: codes must not be in use on any other tables in M5,
otherwise the system will not let you delete them.
Disable
- To disable an active code, check the Disabled flag
box at the end of the row for the code you want to disable.
- Click Save to
update the record.
- To reactive a disabled code, simply repeat this process by unchecking
the flag box and clicking save.
