The Product Transfer frame allows you to transfer fuel products from one fueling location to another. This may be necessary for a variety of reasons such as to correct a fuel receipt transaction or due to a required maintenance action at a location.
To perform a product transfer, enter a valid product number from Product Main in the Product field. In the From Location field, enter the fueling Location from which you are transferring the product, or you can double click in the field to select a valid location from the list of values (LOV).
Next, enter a tank number in the Tank No. field or double click in the field to select a valid Tank from the list of values (LOV). After you enter the tank value, the Before Qty., After Qty., Capacity, Tank Minimum and Tank Maximum will populate automatically.
After entering the information for the 'Transfer From' location, enter a valid fuel location in the Receiving Location field to specify the location to which you are transferring the product. Enter the Tank Number or double click to select one from the list of values (LOV). The remaining fields will populate automatically as they did in the 'Transfer From' section.
Once you have the information for the locations you are transferring to/from, you can enter the Transfer Quantity, Effective Date, and Reference Numbers for the fuel transfer transaction.
NOTE: The Transfer Quantity cannot be greater than the quantity available/put the transferring tank below the Tank Minimum. The Transfer Quantity also cannot put the receiving tank over the Tank Maximum.
When finished entering your data, click the 'Save' button at the top of the frame to complete the transfer.
