The Serialized/Lotted Part Query frame allows you to search for and view the transaction details for selected Serialized or Lotted Parts.
Serialized Parts
Serialized Parts are parts that have a unique serial number assigned to them. These parts cannot be non-stock parts at any location in M5. All combinations of part_id and serial number must be unique across M5.
Lotted Parts
A "lot number" is a value stamped by the manufacturer on a box containing the parts or on the parts themselves. A lot number is very similar to a part number with the exception that there can be multiple parts with the same lot number. You must designate parts as 'Lotted Parts' via the Part Main Catalog.
