The Equipment Profile Maintenance screen allows you to create and maintain equipment profiles for use in shop planning and resource visibility. Equipment Profiles are assigned to asset classes and asset categories once created. They are then assigned to location records on the Location Main screen.
M5 looks up the equipment profile of a unit when a booking is made and compare it against the equipment profile at the booking location. If there is a match, M5 accepts the booking. If not, the booking gets rejected.
