Work Request Plan

The Work Request Plan allows you to create a structure for managing multiple work requests so they may be completed together when a unit is scheduled to have maintenance performed. This work plan will help your shop managers minimize unit downtime and ensure that they have the correct parts and supplies on hand to complete all related tasks for each Work Request in the plan.

To create a Work Request Plan, click the New Work Plan button. The Plan Date will automatically default to the current date. Next enter a Description for the plan.

In the Unit No. field, enter a valid unit from Unit Main or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV). Set a value for Due Within -- the default it 60 days.

The list of available Work Requests for the unit will display in the second i-frame. To add a work request to the new plan, check the 'Add' box in the row of the work request you want to add. Click the 'Save' button at the top of the frame to update the plan.

The work request will then appear in the first i-frame, the Work Requests Included in Plan i-frame. To remove a work request, check the 'Remove' box and then click the 'Save' button.
