Motor Pool Approval

The Motor Pool Approval frame allows users who are designated as a motor pool approver to approve reservation request of those employees who have the Motor Pool Approval Required flag set to 'Yes' on Employee Main.

This frame will also be necessary in the process if System Flag 5143 is set to 'Y' -- this will require that all motor pool reservations be approved. In order to approve reservation requests, users must have the MP-RESV-APPROVAL role privilege assigned to their Application User.

To approve reservations, the user can enter a variety of selection criteria to search for specific reservations including, Reserved For, Request Dept., Pickup Location, Rental Class, and MP Ticket No. The MP Approver field will populate automatically with the Employee ID assigned to the Application User.

When finished entering selection criteria, click the 'Retrieve' button to run the query and display the results on the i-frame below.

Each record that matches the criteria will display the Rental Class, Requesting Department, Reserved For Employee, MP Ticket (hyperlink to Motor Pool Reservation), Pick Up Location, and Approval Type.

To approve a reservation, check the 'Approve' flag box in the row of the reservations you want to approve. Click the 'Save' button at the top of the frame to finalize the approval.
