Ad hoc Groups are used in the Ad hoc Reporting Module. The data sources for the ad hoc reports are views of the M5 data. These data views allow you to manipulate and customize the data for reporting purposes without modifying the actual data. The Ad hoc Group Maintenance frame defines which views the users can use for reporting.
To create a new Ad hoc group enter the new name and press tab. You will be asked to confirm the creation of the new record. Next, assign objects to the group by selecting them from the left side, Objects not included, and moving them to the right side, Objects in Group. Double-click on the object name to move it or select the object and use the >> arrow to move it. You may highlight multiple objects by holding down the shift or Ctrl key while you select the object name. Select SAVE when you are done.
For more information see the Anatomy of an M5 Report.
NOTE: To view a list of System Flags and Role Privileges that may impact this screen, hover over the screen title in M5 to display the bubble help/tooltip. At the bottom of the bubble help/tool tip, there is a Settings hyperlink. Click that hyperlink to display the list of flags and privileges.
