Privilege Groups

The Privilege Groups frame allows the system administrator to create multiple privilege groups to be assigned at the role level either on this screen or via Role Maintenance.

To create a new group, enter a new name in the Group field at the top of the screen. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to create the new group; click Create to confirm the action.

A list of Role Privileges will load on in the Assigned Privileges section in the Unauthorized Privileges column. To select a privilege to add to the Authorized Privileges column, click on it (or use Ctrl + click or Shift + click to make multiple selections, use Crtl + A to select all) and then click the >> button to move the privileges over. To remove authorized privileges complete the same selection process and click the << button.

When finished, click the save button to finish creating the new group. You can now assign these groups at the role level on Role Maintenance. If a privilege group is assigned to a role on Role Maintenance, the selections made here will override any current selections on Role Maintenance.
