The Role Copy screen allows you to create a new Role for an Application User by copying an existing one. This can be useful if you are creating multiple roles at one time and also have specific template you want to use for each one.
To copy an existing role, type the code into the Role Name field of the Existing Role section or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV). The Name field will automatically populate.
Next, enter the new Role Name in the New Role section. After entering the new role, click the Save button. All data from the role, including the SmartApp privileges from the SmartApp Maintenance screen will be copied to the new role.
Upon saving you will be redirected to the Role Maintenance screen where you can make any necessary changes to the new Application User Role.
