The System Performance Monitor allows you troubleshoot system performance issues. It allows you to monitor the performance statistics of individual frames within a particular time frame. Because it is recording system activity the system performance may be noticeably affected.
In order for the frame to capture this data, you must activate a setting on the Application Server. It is highly recommended that you consult with M5 Support prior to running this. The system performance monitoring should be turned off as soon as the troubleshooting activities are completed.
Enter the Time Frame you want to analyze in the From and To date fields. Press tab. Frames that are being executed will load with their timing statistics displayed. When you have completed the analysis, follow the steps given to you by M5 Support to return the system to normal operating mode.
