Time Zones

The Time Zones frame allows you to configure the time zones that are relative to your system location and activity. The time zone setting in M5 is always the time zone where your PC resides. For reporting purposes, each location is assigned to a Time Zone on the Location Main frame.

The Minutes Offset from Database Server are configured relative to the location of the system. Set the Minutes Offset from Database Server field to zero for the time zone in which the database server is located.

For example, if the database server is located in the Eastern Time zone enter 0 in the Minutes Offset from Database Server field. Then enter -60 in Central Time for minus 60 minutes since Central Time is 60 minutes behind Eastern Time.

Enter all the other time zone offsets as negative or positive minutes relative to the location of the database server. Select SAVE when you are done.
