Zone Class Codes

The Zone Class Codes frame allows you to create and define unique codes for use in tracking data related to the Zones module. This functionality helps fleet organizations track and adhere to emissions standards in designated clean air zones and any charges/fees/fines associated with noncompliance or failure to meet those standards.

Create

  1. To create a new Zone Class Code, click in the Code field in the last empty row of the i-frame and enter a new code (if no codes have been created yet, this will be the first row on the i-frame). This required field supports up to 10 alphanumeric characters and must be unique.
  2. After entering a code value, enter a description in the Description field. This required field supports up to 100 alphanumeric characters.
  3. When finished entering the code and description for the new Zone Class Code, click the Save button at the top of the frame.

Edit

  1. To edit an existing code, click in the row of the code you want to edit to make it active.
  2. Only the Description field and the Disabled flag box are changeable. The Code field is read-only.
  3. After you have made the requisite changes, click the Save button at the top of the frame to update the record.

Delete

  1. To delete an existing code, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active.
  2. Click the Delete button at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red.
  3. Click the Save button to confirm the action. The system will process the request and remove the code.
  4. NOTE: codes must not be in use on any other tables in M5, otherwise the system will not let you delete them.

Disable

  1. To disable an active code, check the Disabled flag box at the end of the row for the code you want to disable.
  2. Click Save to update the record.
  3. To reactive a disabled code, simply repeat this process by unchecking the flag box and clicking save.
