The Shift Break Maintenance frame allows you to configure the break times for each work shift. If your fleet organization grants work breaks that are to be deducted from labor charges, you can use this frame to define set work breaks for each shift.
To create shift break information for a shift from Shift Maintenance, enter a valid shift number or double click in the Number field to select one from the list of values (LOV). Press tab or enter to load the shift information below.
The shift days, along with their start time and end time, will display in the Shift Information section. To add or edit shift break information for a shift day, click on the row of the day you want to edit. The fields in the Shift Break Information section will display.
The Start Break Day must be the same day as the shift day you clicked on. Once you have selected the day, enter or select the Start Break time and End Brake Time. The End Break Day must also be the same day as the shift day selected. If the break should be a paid break, check the Paid Flag box at the end of the row.
When finished entering the shift break information, click the Save button at the top of the frame. A new blank row will load if you want to enter another shift break for that day.
To delete a shift break row, click in the row to make it active and then click the Delete button (Red X) at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Click the Save button to delete the shift break.
