ICU Event Codes

The ICU Event Codes frame allows you to create and maintain a list of Fuel Island Control Unit (ICU) event codes. These codes are critical to your ability to monitor the various interface functions performed at the fuel islands.

The standard event codes will be configured during implementation of the Fuel Focus modules and include Pump Pulsar failure, Tank Alarms, Low Battery Warning, ICU Health Check and Emergency Modes status.

When activated these events will send e-mail notifications to designated fleet staff. Before making changes to these event codes it is recommended that you first consult the Fuel Focus support staff.

Create

To create a new ICU Event code, enter a new code in the blank Event Type field at the bottom of the list. This field has a limit of 20 characters. Next, enter a description for the new event code. This field has a limit of 30 characters.

When finished entering the data for the new codes, click the Save button at the top of the frame. The new code is now available for use on the Product Fuel Island Setup frame.

Modify

After creating and saving a new event code, you can modify the Description field. Once you are finished making the necessary changes. Click the Save button to update the record.

Disable

To disable an ICU Event Code, check the 'Disabled' flag box in the row of the code you want to disable. Click the Save button to disable the code.

Delete

You can delete an ICU Event Code provided it is not in use on any other tables throughout the system. If the code is in use, you will not be able to delete it from the list.

To delete an ICU Event that is not in use, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active. Click the Delete button at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Click the Save button to delete the ICU Event from the system.
