The Quote Authorization frame allows you to verify and authorize quotes for bundled work requests from Quote Main. It shows the details of the authorization, who made it, who received it, the date, method of notification and other related details.
The Quote Authorization frame allows you to pull up the work request bundles and apply authorization.
After the authorization has been applied, the work request may be added to a work order. If the work request is not authorized, it cannot be added to an existing work order.
Select the Work Request by Unit or Dept. Then select the quote Number. The details and status of the quote authorization will appear. To authorize a quote, complete the Authorization Sent Information section. Select SAVE when finished.
The Quote Query frame may be used to pull up work requests with quotes that have already been authorized or those pending authorization.
