Part Catalog Multi-Language

The Part Catalog Multi-Language screen allows you to assign the appropriate language values to your existing Parts in M5. Depending on the value of your M5 Param (see Multi-Language Setup Overview) you will see one or two fields displayed below the Description field. One for Spanish and one for French-Canadian.

To assign language values/translations to a part description, simply enter the Part in the number field at the top of the screen. Then enter in the Spanish/French Canadian description you want to display. Once you are finished, click Save at the top of the screen.

Please note: The actual language used in M5 for the description will be determined by matching the language on the browser with one of the two languages specified in the ‘CODE_LOCALE_IDS’ M5 Parameter.  If the browser language does not match either language, then the base description will be used.
